About
Biography
I’m Caitlin Westcott, the cosmic counselor. I am an astrologer, teacher, and writer based in Philadelphia. After spending 14 years in public education, I bring a teacher’s curiosity and care to helping people understand their birth charts and connect astrology with their lived experience. I offer birth chart readings, solar return readings, and open-ended cosmic counseling sessions, which can also incorporate tarot and the Akashic Records. My work is guided by three intentions: restorying the past, meeting the present, and opening to what’s possible.
About the astrologer
I believe astrology can help us meet ourselves with greater compassion and curiosity. It offers a language for exploring our experiences, recognizing patterns, and finding meaning as we navigate change. My role is to help you connect that language with your own lived wisdom, making space for your questions, complexity, and possibility. Restorying the past. Meeting the present. Opening to what’s possible.
Approach to readings
My approach is reflective, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the authority on your own life. Rather than offering fixed predictions, I use astrology to explore patterns, illuminate possibilities, and support your own discernment. Together, we make space for the complexity of being human: our relationships, creativity, grief, growth, and the questions that arise during times of transition.
How this astrologer works
Experience
I founded the cosmic counselor in 2023 after spending 14 years in education. My work includes individual birth chart and solar return readings, ongoing cosmic counseling, private events, and astrology workshops and community circles. Through my membership, Living the Sky, I guide a small community in exploring planetary and lunar cycles and connecting astrology with everyday life. My background in teaching informs my accessible, collaborative approach to every session.
