What we may check

Depending on the information available, we may check details such as:

• Identity or professional name
• Professional website and contact information
• Training and qualifications
• Professional memberships
• Evidence of active professional practice

We may use information supplied by the practitioner alongside credible public professional sources.

What verification does not mean

Verification does not guarantee:

• The accuracy of an astrologer's interpretations or predictions
• The quality or outcome of a consultation
• That a practitioner is the right choice for every client
• That we endorse their beliefs, methods or approach

Astrology involves interpretation, and different practitioners may work in very different ways.

How verification works

We look for reasonable evidence supporting the specific information being checked. This may include professional websites, biographies, training records or professional memberships.

If we cannot reasonably confirm something, it may remain practitioner-provided rather than being shown as verified.

Practitioners remain responsible for keeping their information accurate and up to date.

Verification and membership are separate

Joining Good Astrologers does not guarantee verification or affect how information is checked.

Verification can also change if information becomes outdated or can no longer be reasonably confirmed.
