Biography
Based in Seattle, Washington, USA, I help my clients understand their birth chart beyond impersonal apps, general mundane forecasts, and AI-generated interpretations. Each custom consultation is prepared in advance, preceded by at least two hours of calculation and research in order to provide a unique, personalized, high-quality astrological reading. Expect a conversation about the patterns of your life, rooted in classic astrological tradition, focused on honest and careful interpretation. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients from across the world. My approach is structured but flexible and integrates relevant timing periods and transits, leaning on my studies with esteemed teachers and my own ongoing consultation practice. I practice traditional astrological methodologies, incorporating contemporary influences when appropriate. I especially enjoy working with ancient timing techniques from the Hellenistic and early Medieval eras. Since 2021, I've led mastermind groups for astrologers looking to advance their private practices and other astrology-focused ambitions. I have engaged in natal chart consultations in a professional capacity since 2022. I served as an editor for The Mountain Astrologer magazine during 2021-2024. Since 2024, I've facilitated astrology workshops and meetups in my local community. In 2025-26, I served a 12-month term with the Nightlight Astrology Reading Clinic, offering reduced-rate consultations for Adam Elenbaas. Aside from astrology, I study and practice the principals and wisdom philosophies of yoga, guiding classes and workshops in my local community.
About the astrologer
After a long period of self-study, I began to pursue training under numerous teachers and mentors, which I continue to this day in an effort to refine my understanding and application of techniques in consultation practice. I am especially grateful to my teachers for their integrity to the tradition and for holding a guiding light on this path. The tapestry woven by traditional astrology and yoga philosophy grounds and guides me. I’ve discovered that the more I learn, the more complex and (even) contradictory things become — reminding me of what my yoga mentor teaches, "All models are false but some of them are useful." This teaching helps me loosen my grip on finding the "one way" to understand it all and to instead tap into the rich symbolism and mystery that pervades everything. I follow the ethical standards and guidelines published by the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR)
Approach to readings
I practice traditional astrological methodologies, incorporating contemporary influences when appropriate. My focus is primarily Traditional astrology, rooted in Medieval and Persian techniques, using the Western tropical zodiac and Whole Sign houses, sometimes fused with transits of modern outer planets. I especially enjoy working with ancient timing techniques from the Hellenistic and early Medieval eras.
