About
Biography
I am a Professional Astrologer located in Evergreen, Colorado. I work with clients from around the world - mostly online. I view myself as an interpreter of the astrological language, and illuminating self-understanding. My professional background is in Archaeology, where I have primarily worked on projects in Belize and Central California. I have also worked as a yoga instructor for nearly 20 years. The through-line between Astrology, Yoga and Archaeology is my unwavering interest in humans. Humans live in a world of constant contradiction and miraculous break-throughs. My background in Archaeology has trained me to take myself out of my Astrological work as much as possible and to embrace the complexity of my clients and their charts. I work with clients all around the world, I also have two monthly podcasts (Broadcast Astrology and The Dynamic Self Astrology), I write a monthly newsletter and I am constantly researching astrological patterns and current events. I am also currently conducting several medical astrology research projects. Because of my robust astrological knowledge, I am able to address nearly any question or situation that is given to me. I have studied many astrological specialties intensely and from several different teachers. You can visit my website for a complete list of astrological courses that I have taken.
Approach to readings
I am most concerned about my clients feeling comfortable, included and seen. Before the consultation, I reach out to make sure that I am structuring the consultation in a way that will be of most service to the client, and make sure that their birth data is correct. I have many tools that I can use, and I want to make sure that our time together is meaningful and well prepared. When in the consultation space, I always invite my clients to inform me if my interpretation of their chart is not resonating with them, because astrological interpretation is dependent primarily on symbols, often a minor tweak of my interpretation will put us somewhere that is more resonant. I am always very clear that we are there to explore the astrology together, I am very aware of the potential uneven power structure between astrologer and client and I do my best to level that out as much as possible. My first-time client consultations are a bit more expensive because I need to take the time to delineate and understand their natal chart. For every client (wether they ask or not) I look at several different timing layers - such as Secondary Progressed Lunar Phases, Secondary Progressions, Solar Arcs, Profections, Zodiacal Releasing, Transits and the Solar Return. Weaving the themes of these timing techniques together always gives me a relevant pulse of the moment for the client. I consider Client Consultations to be sacred space. I take my work very seriously, and I am humbled by the opportunity to provide personal Astrological insight to my clients. This work lights up my own life, and I always hope to do the same for my clients.
