Biography
I am an Animist, Ritual Arts Facilitator, Diviner, Astrologer, Spiritual Educator, Folk Herbalist, and Photographer. I am the founder of Sylphstar Healing, where all of my work flows from a devotion to earth-honoring, ancestral, and intuitive ways of knowing. Through elemental ritual and sacred practice, I help people come home to themselves, tending grief, sparking creativity, embodying truth, and remembering their place within the greater web of life. I have practiced astrology since the early 1990s and have worked as a consulting astrologer for 16 years. For me, astrology is a lived, felt, and shared practice that fosters connection, healing, and empowerment. I have collaborated with spiritual educators locally and internationally, hosted Astro-Healing Circles, created an eight-week Moon Mapping course, and facilitated rituals and ceremonies. I am also an active member of Astrology Toronto, where I have presented on Ancestral Astrology and How To Offer Mini Astrology Readings, and have served on the board since 2024.
Approach to readings
My work is rooted in a deep relationship with the living world and a belief that astrology can be a practice of connection, remembrance, and transformation. I approach astrology as something to be lived and felt, not simply interpreted, inviting us to listen more closely to ourselves, our ancestors, and the more than human world around us. In my client work, I weave ancestral, relational, living, and embodied astrology with divination, ritual arts, photography, and folk herbalism. These practices are ways of listening to the body, to the land, to ancestral wisdom, and to the subtle patterns that shape our lives. I’m interested in the places where astrology becomes tangible, where insight can move beyond the chart and into how we live, relate, heal, and make meaning. My approach is grounded in animism and nature based spirituality, and in a belief that healing is not separate from our relationships with ourselves, our communities, our ancestors, or the living world. Through one on one sessions, ceremonies, workshops, classes, and retreats, I create intentional spaces for reflection, discovery, and embodied transformation. At the heart of my work is an invitation to slow down, deepen your intuition, and reconnect with what you already know. Together, we make space for curiosity, ritual, and a more reciprocal relationship with the world around us.
