Biography
I'm Shelley Lynn Hines, RN, MSN, a Master Evolutionary Astrologer, spiritual educator, and founder of Astrology Shines. (Former Certified Hypnotherapist/ Past Life Regressions) My journey has taken me from nursing and nurse-midwifery into the mysteries of astrology, mythology, and the human soul. These seemingly different paths share a common thread: accompanying people through life's profound thresholds of change, discovery, and becoming. I bring a compassionate, inquisitive, and sometimes unconventional perspective to my work, along with a lifelong commitment to understanding the relationship between body, soul, and spirit.
About the astrologer
I believe astrology is a sacred language of possibility, inviting us to explore who we are, where we've been, and who we are becoming. My practice is rooted in a lifelong fascination with the mysteries of the human soul and a profound respect for each person's unique journey. I'm particularly drawn to working with those navigating significant life transitions, spiritual awakening, questions of identity, and the reclamation of their authentic voice and personal authority. For me, astrology is not about predicting a predetermined future. It illuminates the patterns, potentials, and possibilities that help us participate more consciously in our own becoming. I believe the most meaningful readings are conversations in which wisdom emerges through genuine connection, thoughtful inquiry, and always laughter.

My readings are grounded in Evolutionary Astrology, which explores the soul's journey, the patterns we carry, and our possibilities for conscious growth and transformation. Our time together is a collaborative conversation, enriched by intuitive insight, compassionate listening, and pastoral sensitivity. I bring more than twenty years of astrological study, practice, and teaching to my work as a Master Evolutionary Astrologer. My professional background includes over thirty years in nursing, with advanced education and experience in nurse-midwifery. I hold RN and MSN credentials, and my healthcare career profoundly shaped my understanding of human development, life transitions, and compassionate care. Through Astrology Shines, I offer individual consultations and have facilitated educational programs, workshops, and retreats exploring astrology, personal transformation, and women's spirituality. My ongoing research brings together astrology, mythology, and the Divine Feminine, including the development of the Magdalena Method, an emerging interpretive framework exploring asteroid 318 Magdalena through an Evolutionary Astrology lens.

Shelley is a gifted astrologer. It was her reading many, many years ago that guided me into my purpose as a healer and energy worker. Her most recent reading of my chart added depth and understanding around my purpose and affirmed what I have been working on in my business and life.
